Worthington graduated with a degree in architecture, with an emphasis in history, from Iowa State University. While collaborating several years with some of Iowa’s top architecture firms, he served as project architect, and built a reputation as a design leader. His projects have been awarded numerous State, Regional and National design awards.

Wil is an active Member of the American Institute of Architects Iowa Chapter since 1993. He enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and participating in community events. He frequently volunteers for Habitat for Humanity projects.

Wil enjoys traveling, the arts, astronomy, science fiction and thriller movies, extreme sports, gourmet cooking with his wife, and spending time with family and friends.
