Kent founded KC Engineering in February of 1988.

Kent is currently a board member of Siouxland Youth for Christ. He also is a director at Pioneer Bank. He is on the board of Siouxland Engineers Club. He is past board member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Junior Achievement, and officer of the Iowa Engineering Society.

His summertime activities include golf, working on the farm, and grandkids activities. Winter activities include amateur level oil painting, movies, some travel, and grandkids activities.

One of Kent’s favorite Bible verses is in James 4:6; “God opposes the proud, but shows favor to the humble”.
