Jason joined KC Engineering in 2010 and became partners with Eric and Kent in 2012. He and his wife, Heidi, lived in Colorado after college, where he worked as a structural engineer for a mid-sized firm consulting to architects, primarily on retail, office and residential projects. He also worked for a prominent larger civil/structural firm where his experience included structural design of multi-story office and residential buildings and ski-resorts in high seismic regions.
Since moving back to Siouxland, Jason and Heidi have enjoyed being closer to family and friends, and living in a small community again. Jason enjoys working at KC Engineering because of the variety of interesting projects and the quality of his clients and co-workers.
Jason is an active member at Immaculate Conception Parish in Moville. He serves as a volunteer coach for the Moville Youth Recreation Association and is a member of the Moville Planning and Zoning Board. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society, and the Knights of Columbus.

What do you like about working at KC Engineering?
I enjoy being part of a team that develops projects from need, to concept, to a set of plans, to a working structure. It’s gratifying to get to solve problems and see your ideas become reality.
